Specialist and Generalist Agencies
Getting advice as early as possible can really help. As soon as you need help you should contact your local Housing Options and Advice Teams who will be able to offer you advice on what your options are and what help they can offer you. They can potentially: find accommodation for you, negotiate with creditors if you are threatened with repossession or liaise with your landlord. We have listed the main Councils that we work with in relation to homelessness. If the Council for your area is not listed just click on the link below which will take you to Yell and type in the councils name. Then enter the word “homelessness” and contact details will be displayed.
