Local Authority Nominations

We work with all the local councils where we have housing stock and they have nomination rights to our properties, which mean that they refer people to us from their housing waiting lists who are in most housing need.

Nomination rights are usually 100% for new developments and 50% for subsequent lettings, although in areas of high demand this may be higher. In certain areas, particular rural districts, legally binding agreements are in place which state that all allocations must be made to an applicant with a proven local connection to that area.
