Home Insurance Scheme

Endeavour Housing Association has recognised the problems tenants face in getting insurance. They have realised that many household contents schemes available are not practical, as they may have high minimum sums insured, require an annual payment, insist on a bank account or not offer cover in certain areas.

The Association has arranged a contents insurance scheme, in association with RSA which is geared towards your needs.

The premiums start from as little as £0.82 per week for £6000 of cover  for tenants aged 60 or over and in receipt of state pension and £1.38 per week for £9000 of cover for all other tenants.

You can give yourself that peace of mind knowing that you have a content’s insurance policy, which includes benefits such as:

  • No excess payable on any claim
  • The option to pay for the insurance weekly
  • It is available to all tenants
  • There are no minimum security requirements
  • Fast and efficient claims service
  • New for old cover
  • Cover for fire, lightning, explosion, storm, flood
  • Cover for escape of water/oil
  • Cover for theft or attempted theft
  • Cover for riot, vandalism
  • Cover for accidental damage to TV’s, videos, DVD’s, mirrors and fixed glass in furniture
  • Cover for freezer contents
  • Cover for personal money in the home
  • Cover for theft/loss of keys
  • Cover for damage to improvements you have made to your home eg new bathroom suite etc
  • Accidental death cover

To join the scheme, you must fill in an insurance application form.
