Gas Servicing

Gas is a killer, and as such we take our commitment to gas safety seriously and insist that all appliances are serviced annually. These checks don’t take too long - no more than an hour depending on the number of our gas appliances in your home.

We will write to you to let you know when the service will take place. If this time is not convenient, you can arrange it for another day.

If after repeated attempts we cannot gain access we can either get a court injunction or take court action to repossess your home. We don’t want to do this, so please allow us access. Your safety must come first.

Gas appliances that are not regularly serviced can become costly to run and dangerous to you and those living near you.

If you smell gas:

Call Transco immediately on 0800 111 999

After Transco have visited call 0845 60 60 665 and ask for an engineer to call.
