Holiday Entitlements

Holiday Entitlement is calculated on a pro rata basis, based on length of service and hours worked:

Full time Annual leave entitlement is on the following basis:

  • 25 days Entry
  • 26 days After 1 Year service (continuous employment as at 1 April)
  • 27 days After 2 Years service (continuous employment as at 1 April)
  • 28 days After 3 Years service (continuous employment as at 1 April)

Plus statutory holidays and an additional 3 days to be taken between 26 and 31 December. Staff that are required to work during the 3 days between Christmas and New Year, may take the leave in addition to their annual allowance, at other times of the year.

Training & Development

We encourage your work-related skills and experience through on the job training and where appropriate, study for an approved qualification. On average, we spend approximately £600 on each employee's skills/qualification development and are committed to personal and organisation development.

Performance & Development Review

The yearly review of your career progression is a two-way process where we encourage you to discuss past performance and future improvement. You will have regular one-to-one meetings with your line manager to discuss your performance.
