Welfare Benefits Advice
To ensure all customers are claiming the right income related benefits, tax credits and benefits for people with disabilities and their carers, Endeavour staff are well trained to look at welfare benefit issues. We are able to offer impartial and confidential advice on a range of issues relating to money and debt management as well as problems with rent arrears.
Benefits checks
We can support customers to check their benefits to see if they are getting all that they are entitled to. We can also advise on which benefits they may be entitled to claim, how to claim it and help with filling in the forms.
Housing benefit
Some of our customers receive housing benefit to help pay their rent. The team can work out what an individual will be expected to pay towards their rent to avoid arrears arising while a new claim is being processed or an existing one is being re-assessed.
Debt management
The team can offer free and independent advice on dealing with problems with arrears on rent, council tax or other bills. They can also work out and offer repayment terms for customers in rent arrears.
